Founded in 1981, Logix basic philosophies and programs have evolved
and changed only slightly. Logix was created to address the needs of advanced
science and technology. Its philosophy, programs and specializations were
a result of filling the void at the time while anticipating needs and
changes of the future. Logix rise was initially meteoric with only
the deep recession of 1989-1990 acting as an impediment to its geographical
and financial growth. Since that time, Logix has increased revenues in
excess of 45% year over year and has achieved uniform acceptance for its
successes throughout the scientific and hi-tech communities. This was
initially evidenced in 1993 with its first Boston Business Journal Largest
Executive Search Firm Award.
Logix is unique in its specialization and product mix. Traditionally,
Executive Search firms provide only one service (retained search) to a
variety of industries. Employment agencies provide only one product (contingent
placement) to a variety of industries. Both are monolithic in the service
they provide, lacking specialization. Logix, on the other hand, is a hybrid
providing a variety of programs (services) - i.e., Consulting Bids and
Proposal, Retained Search, Modified Search, Contingent Placement and Contract
Consulting - to only the technical and scientific communities. Logix features
consultants who are experienced in specific market segments of life sciences
and information technology. This provides knowledge, expertise and ultimately
a quicker, more reliable result.

Chief Executive Officer
As one of the industry's true innovators, David M. Zell has significantly changed the
face of the employment profession. His contribution to advancing the methodology and
techniques of recruiting, consulting and classical search has made Logix the "company
to beat". Regarded as a charismatic leader and motivator, his energy and enthusiasm
have been the driving force behind Logix' success.
As Logix' founder, Mr. Zell has assembled the most highly regarded group
of consulting professionals in the scientific and technical communities.
The Logix organization is known throughout the industry for its unique
approach to Human Resource Consulting, Executive Search and Recruiting.
Prior to Logix, he was instrumental in the start-up of two successful
recruiting firms.
Mr. Zell is a graduate of the University of Miami, Coral Gables, where he earned a
degree in Psychology.

Market Research
As an invaluable asset to its professional consulting staff, Logix provides
an extremely thorough research team that continually investigates the
new opportunities created by the advancement of new science and technology.
In addition, they gather information on market trends, i.e., competitive
positioning and salary surveys in order to identify the most ideally suited
client company/candidate match possible.
The Research/Marketing Group provides support for Partners, Directors and Consulting
Staff members, and is responsible for all administrative functions including maintaining
internal database integrity and maintenance of Logix' Client accounts.
